About TFSA

I received a notice from my Investment Advisor indicating that my TFSA account required correction and update of non-financial information. What should I do?

Please call your Investment Advisor immediately with updated information about the account holder’s Date of birth, Date of death (if applicable), Surname, or Social Insurance number. We have been informed by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) that the information held at the CRA does not match the information we have been filing to them. This mismatch may jeopardize the tax free status of the account.
